The conspiracy theory!

“We want to dedicate this match to Bob” – Reportedly a statement from the Pakistan team management when asked how they would approach the final game of 2007 world cup campaign. And they did finally pulled out a convincing win over Zimbabwe. This would be the final matches for many Pak players – a team of individuals where controversy was just a part of their daily routine regardless whether they are playing or not and this fuels up the theory of conspiracy over their hi-tech savvy coach Bob Woolmer.

Its not that difficult to “guess” what would be the motive if they anybody wanted to kill Bob. He has been with Pak team and must have known many acerbic truths which for sure many wouldn’t like to be seep out.

So why is it that his death is a controversy ?

Here is one of my probable flow of events –

After the autopsy report, it’s much clear now that the cause of his death must have been the poison present in his body. Many people who knew him for long swear that he won’t commit suicide and trances strangle marks on his throat just points to one thing – he was forced to intake the poison. This explains the theory of why Bob couldn’t let anybody know that he was in pain and was struggling. As the killers have left the room thinking that its done, poor Bob might have regained his consciousness just enough to vomit all around the room and managed to crawl till toilet where he breathed his last.

Here is another one –

After the dreadful lose to the minnows the pressure might have mounted on him so much that he might have decided to end his stint not only with the team… but from the world itself. So he consumes the poison by himself and just before the final moments he might have collapsed and the marks might have been caused by the bruises. If this is true, how the coach of such a celebrity crammed team got access to such life threatening poison amidst the tight security checks?

Whatever may be the cause of death – it might not have come in a worse moment than this where his team was struggling and down. One can’t forget his contribution to world cricket and was a living example that its not mandatory that only a good player can be a good coach. My hats of to him and pray that the truth comes out for good.
