House of mockery!

It has become a common sight for someone who watches the parliament proceedings to see “the elected” does nothing but shouting at each other and at times for a change exchanging blows on each other. I do really wonder if anybody really does watch this in spite of Doordarshan’s cautious effort to bring awareness to the common man on what the chosen people does for the people chose them.

Why worry if they fight?

For each minutes of session the government spends about 20,000 INR and it doubles if both Rajya sabha and Lok Sabha have sessions on the same time. So roughly in a day the sessions of 3 hours each would cost the common man about 72 lacks INR!!! And for 10 such sessions in a month would cost 7 cr. INR. Makse sense?

So for each unproductive minute would cost dear for a tax payer.

Is this a crime?

If destruction/misuse of public property is a criminal offense, Yes this is also a crime. And just by looking at the figure above even a fifth standard student can understand that any one who is responsible for such a heinous act has to be prosecuted. The money we are loosing this fashion is good enough to make thousands of starving children happy, thirsty lands to become green …

Fight v/s Debate

I am not against intellectual arguments here – if it adds value towards any noble cause. But most of the time I find our MP’s MLA’s and even Ministers do fighting than having a debate.

So our dearest politicians … please behave!
